Blogmas Day 5 – Our Favourite Christmas Films🎥

Found a good Christmas film, if not, don’t worry here is a list of our top 5 for you to watch. Maybe you will enjoy these as much as we do.

  1. Love Actually:

This is our number one Christmas film, this is what we watch at the end of Christmas day snuggled up on the sofa with all the family! This film consists of 9 different love stories based around Christmas bringing joy, happiness and humour to our tele! This is a must watch in our families at Christmas every year.

  1. Elf:

This is a classic starring Will Ferrell as an oversized elf, called Buddy. Buddy was accidently transported to the North Pole as a child where he was brought up as one of Santa’s elves. On his search for his real father Buddy must overcome many obstacles. We love watching this on the lead up to Christmas as it is played on TV. This film is full of humour and reminds us of the most important thing at Christmas which is family!

  1. The Grinch:

The Grinch is Jim Carrey at his finest. This is an old classic children’s tale by Dr Seuss that everyone loves and will for many more years. The Grinch tries to ruin Christmas, but will he succeed? We love gathering round at Christmas with the family for a giggle with this film.

  1. The Nightmare Before Christmas:

This is a lovely children’s musical film perfect for Halloween and Christmas! We love a good sing-a-long to all the songs. It is a cartoon and a bit dark for Christmas, but still a favourite of ours to watch before Christmas. This reminds us of our childhoods watching this every year knowing all the words!

  1. Home Alone:

Home Alone is a very popular Christmas film many people love. This film is very funny, which is about a young boy being home alone and having to protect his home from intruders. For us this is low down as it is an old film and slightly overrated, but still a film to have a giggle at.

Thank you for reading and we would love to hear about your favourite Christmas films!
